McDonalds?

And if the cost of living here was the same as India, your McDonalds comparison would actually be meaningful.

Don't worry folks, it's only a matter of time before someone eats India's lunch and they start calling for protectionism too. Bringing up the people's standard of living with more and higher paying jobs is a double edged sword. Eventually those same people will no longer be cost effective either and the work will go elsewhere.

Not to worry though. The 10 or 20% in this country who receive 80% of the countries incomes will continue to do so. That's all that counts isn't it? They make the rules after all. You know, the rules which say they get paid first and most. You aren't still under the illusion YOU actually have a say in it all are you? Ride the wave or drown under it. Aint the global economy fun?
