If an OS works well, then why go to something new like Windows or Linux. If I remember, Unix was a contemporary of VMS and UNIX needed to be rebranded as Linux in order to make a modest comeback. VMS, at least when I used it, was a flexible, reliable, and powerful OS. So, perhaps we should drop Windows 2003, AD, Linux, OpenLDAP, etc and everyone go back to VMS.
