- This guy is an idiot.
- He thinks that HP-UX is better than Solaris??? Solaris may be on the way out, but HP-UX will be long gone by the time we unplug the last Solaris computer. Really Suns biggest problems is how and when to embrace Linux completely. Sitting on the number one Unix, you hate to give that up. But, eventually, Linux will be better and they need to unload all of the Solaris R&D at some point and refocus that on Java platform stratety. Since HP doesn't have a good Unix product, the decision will be a lot easier.
