Getting as bad as bitty about being wrong
>>>Might want to notice what RedHat is doing.
They split their product into paid and unpaid. They lure volunteers to improve the free product, with every expectation that they will use the contribution to increase the value of their paid product. Their paid product costs a lot.<<<

No, they split their product into proprietary work, with paid programmers and service, and community work which anyone can download and use for no charge. I'll say that again. They split their product into PROPRIETARY work with PAID PROGRAMMERS, and commmunity work...

Notice the PAID PROGRAMMERS part.

Getting as bad as bitty about being wrong.

>>>You're looking at the exploitation of volunteer labor to make money. Notice?<<<

What is easy to notice here is you have no clue what the terms of the GPL are. If you did you wouldn't post such untrue nonsense. Why don't you read it sometime. You may learn something. At least you will learn why what you said is wrong and could never happen.

I also noticed you forgot about the expensive patents (average cost of a patent: $10,000.00) Red Hat allows OSS developers to use and distribute, royalty free.

You folks with the MS mindset simply do not get it and I seriously doubt you ever will.
