Don't like it anymore.
I tried many distros, but started with and learned on RedHat (7.1?). Now I use Gentoo. Anyway, I actually liked Suse: nice clean interface, easy install, and pretty good packaging system.

But after Novell took over, they made it more commercial (nothing wrong w/ that, they can do what they want w/ their products). I just checked it out again a few weeks back and I was mostly disappointed.

The site was irritating to navigate (not like old suse). They mention "Suse Linux" all over, but make it a pain to get to. The network floppy install (the best part of suse IMO) didn't work (installing on an old weak machine w/ very little ram). Support seemed to be stuffed away some where too.

Basically, every page seemed to scream "spend money on us" and it ended up being a turn off. I don't mind buying the product, but it was irritating the way it was presented. I was finally able to do the CD install and... it just didn't have the kick it did the 1st time around. Guess I am too used to Gentoo now.
