An hour late and a dollar short...
This attempt at gaining developer mindshare is clearly the last gasps from a dying company. The Open Source movement, and UNIX in particular, has done little to affect the way people use computers or communicate. Outlook Express and IE have had more impact on the everyday computer user than UNIX and Linux combined.

My developers have exclusive access to MSDN and are on the site all day long, looking for the latest nuggets of information from Redmond. I have held my own code-a-thons called Developers In Real Time (DIRT) where all my MCSD's compete for time off and vacation leave by coming up with unique ways to manage Windows servers. All of the offerings go into a central repository. I have fostered a totally academic feel around here with the help of my MS rep. Who needs Red Hat?
