Money isn't good enough
"It cited a privately commissioned study by Peter D. Hart Research Associates that said 64 percent of consumers now believe it is illegal to ?make music from the computer available for others to download for free over the Internet," up from 37 percent in November 2002."

Now they must survey how many people stood in a corner and said they were sorry after the thumb screws were applied.

"RIAA President Cary Sherman said. "You don't set up a speed trap for one day and stop enforcement thereafter. It has to be consistent."

Says Cary, as he stands up straight, pretending he's an armed police officer, eating his donut.

I'm still waiting for their explanation of how they justify taking 90% profits, ripping off both the public AND the artist, and fighting every new concept for a happy medium where they don't get the lion's share of the money and won't be able to monopolize the industry.
