They have done it before! In the early 80's, Commodore sold the most computers in Europe. WHile we were stuggling with crappy Windoze 1,2,3.x - the Europeans had a multitasking, multiprocessor, color GUI point and click interface computer that connected to their TVs - called the Amiga. To make a LONG death march story short, bulb dissapeared and THEN M$ started making inroads in Europe. Windoze STILL doesn't come close to the Amiga in many ways, and I would bet MONEY that the Europeans would jump to something else in a minute - if they could.
