OpenOffices runs on Mac...sorta
You can run OpenOffice on the Mac already. Problem is that you need to install an X11 instance to run it within. I found this to be cumbersome and buggy at best. The interface for OpenOffice looked horrid on the pretty OSX desktop. OpenOffice has always reminded me of the old days of Windows 3.1.
