Can you be specific.
Can you be specific. Exactly where is OO not ready for the vast majority of users and unstable. Somewhere between 90 and 98% of users only use the word processor for simple tasks and spreedsheets for even simpler tasks. Now if you say OO formats are not 100% compatable I will agree but somewhere around 10% or less need 100% compatability. I use OO and consider myself close to a power user. I have not had to revert to MS office in over a year. As to stability, I will be honest, OO has crashed on me a few times but probably no more often than any other office suite would and much less than I remember MS office crashing.
