Yet again...nonsense
Korea, iran, china can not hijack linux. They can put out there own distro. Everybody can. I wouldn't mind if they did that. Why would I? As to your questions about how I can say nonsense.....
It doesn't matter if they contribute back in to linux. They would be required to do so under gpl if they add to linux but even if they do not they still would only be able to use their distro in their own country. Any where else they would be in front of a judge pretty quick for violating the liscence...and again, you could go with any number of other distro's. I'm sure you are aware you can not do that with windows.

They would also be dependend on the great army of devolopers that contribute to linux for developing Linux further so it would be fairly easy to rewrite the kernel in a way that would brake anything they added without contributing the code.

Just for the hell of it....why would Iran or Korea even be interested to do such a thing when they have acces to linux for one hundred percent now? Doesn't make sense to me.
