I've had the same question...
...since all these posts started popping up. The idea of these licenses suddenly bringing everybody into court and all these users getting sued (hello SCO!) is hard to put in context. Sure, MS has IP. Oracle, CA, HP, IBM, GE, GM, Proctor and Gambel do too; business pretty much runs on it.

But I notice we're not all in court defending ourselves from Xerox or Apple because of the GUI on our desktops. Come on, even the law has some common sense!
