Media Center flaw
Transfering VCR tapes (home movies) to DVD discs is slow and error prone on the Microsoft Media Center. You can't record direct to DVD disks. Instead you load onto the hard drive then make a DVD video. Good luck! Great way to make coasters! At present you have to shut down all the other programs and go through the long 2 to 4 hour process to get your one home video on to disk; and only if everything goes well.
