- I don't want a pc in the living room

So far, I prefer elgato's (www.elgato.com) approach. A small firewire tuner (EyeTV) attached to my Mac allows me to record and edit television programs (or other video) and play it back on the computer.
A second device, about the size of a thick paper back book (EyeHome), attached to my tv allows me to play my iTunes music library, view photos, or playback video.
I only need one computer in the house to do everything. And since the eyeTV box is an addon it only takes about 2 minutes to move it to another Mac if I choose to do so. - Posted by: alterego_z Posted on: 01/06/05 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
