- a number of tech companies with media ties have had a hand in some spec, proposal, group and/or implementation of DRM and SDMI, from MS, to Apple, to IBM, AOL, etc. Want to hate on somebody, Macrovision would be one great place. The RIAA and MPAA are two others, and quite nasty at the legislative level of the "fight".
