HP is voting
HP was Microsoft's poster child for Media Center. Lots of ink on that subject when it was first announced.

This week they announced a Linux-based system for CES. Philips is pretty much 100% Linux under the hood. The list goes on.

It might have something to do with MS' determination to be the only player in a market with any margins. Maybe HP, Philips, Sony, etc. don't want to have what happened to the PC industry happen to them.

That, or maybe they just found out that customers don't want the "Windows Experience" version of "Home Entertainment." Such as a TV set that has to be unplugged to recover from a lock-up, like happened to Bill this morning.
