A "real" Linux user would care. Not because
of the reader per se. But because this move will be a step towards validating the Linux desktop for those users who have worries regarding desktop productivity which deters any ideas of giving open source a chance. This move goes way beyond your little isolated world. It will affect the future of IT for everyone.

Plus, your reader wouldn't be around if Adobe had not made PS open for others to use. Your attitude is just as bad as Microsoft's attitude. Just in a diferrent direction. The IT industry loses just as much from your small minded ideas as it does from MS's arrogance. Technology can do much better without narrow minded users like yourself and arrogant solution providers like MS.

You are only giving the open source world a bad name. "Real" Linux users care about the IT environment as a whole. They also realize that colaboration is a much better solution than isolationism. You obviously are not a "Real" Linux user.
