OOo works nothing like a Macintosh Application. It's more Windows than Mac and as such would be out of place on OS X. Also, OOo is not programmed in Objective C (Cocoa) and would not provide all the benefits of the OS that an Cocoa app would provide.

If anyone here has used Gobe's Productive office suite, I would imagine what Apple has up their sleeve will be much like that application as they have hired many of the original authors of that application back in 2003. These same people worked for Claris before Apple purchase them.

OOo has its place. I don't think Apple is too impressed with it though. We'll see next week.
