Why is it so many open source people have invested so much time getting Linux to run on the XBox?
Because the XBox is the most powerful console currently on the market, it consumes less power than a PC, is cheaper than a PC, quieter than a PC, and produces less heat than a PC. So when it can run linux, it serves as a great node for clusters. That and Microsoft doesn't like it when their hardware is hacked.

Linux has already started work on this project, but did you miss the article a couple of weeks ago about the poor sales of tablet PCs. Not really a market that is that profitable at this time, especially because of that high priced OS. Example, find a tablet with XP home and compare the price with XP Tablet edition. You may be shocked at the difference.

Why is it the CPU manufactures are building DRM into the mother boards and CPUs to support Microsoft's DRM? Because Microsoft owns 90% of the desktop market, and to go against them would probably be a bad thing.
Kindof like Wal-mart and RFID

Why is it AMD went to MS and asked them to optimize Windows for their newest 64-bit chips?
Because Linux already is optimized for Athlon 64 bit processors. (We are waiting on them!!!!)

Your list is crap. Come back with better questions. Funny thing is, I am just an underling the the world of Linux. I am sure there are many others who could really give you fits. I have to spend most of my day in the world of Windows, OS/400, AIX, Netware and such. Linux is just a hobby for me.
