A real hurt for open source.
While many posters will surly claim no one will buy these licenses they are only kidding themselve's. Developers and application software companies will be all over it. With one big exception of course and that is open source.

As we all know, open source hasn't any funds to do so, nor can they release the IP under GPL. As developers move to take advantage of the licensed IP the open source community will simply be left out in the cold.

This is a very smart move on MS's part in their competition with Open SOurce. It will interesting to see how the "community" responds, or if they even try to respond.
