Your exact words have already been stated, and proven to be wrong wrong - - - In mid 1990 right before Microsoft released Win3.0 (5 years after Win1.0 was released). Back then NOTHING could ever HOPE to touch Apple. Apple was the top. The King. Then the upstart began to seek an edge with v3.0, and began to take that edge with 3.11, and then took over by the time Win95 hit (10 years after Win1.0).

Can I foresee the future any more than you? No.
But I can see the *possibility* of this occurring once again with MS being "the Apple" this time.
(And I use XP.)
