Pay closer attention to what I say...
Instead of hearing what you want to hear.

My "needs" tend to be more complicated than that of Joe Average user and I do tend to look at/try new software and methodology. Believe it or not our clients demand it.

It may come as a huge surprise, but we look at Linux/Open Source all the time. One of the young guys working for me is a true Linux geek (his words printed on his T-shirts) and is constanly pushing the envelop to try and match the tools available in the Windows environment. So far it hasn't happened.

If/when Linux/Open Source can match the Windows enviornemnt for tools, applications, hardware support, service support, and plain usability we will consider it's use and recommend it to our clients, IF it fits their needs...
