Oracle buys PeopleSoft for $10 billion
Seems that the IT world is coming full cycle too early. Just when we came out of monopoly of big companies in hardware forcing the users to buy there hardware only now we have the similar situation for Software. We are left with Microsoft in OS, Oracle in Databases and SAP in ERP. Though smaller fishes are trying hard but I doubt the amount of investement the business requires can be put by these guys.
