No WinXPPro registration? You're kidding, right?
I most certainly did have to register my WinXPPro o/s. Had to get a validation number. I haven't changed anything in my system since then, so I don't know if doing so would require a re-registration (I understand this is so, if major changes are made). And as for Netscape being less than dead, it is to laugh. I use Netscape 7.1, our entire school corporation does, and we much prefer it to IE. I do use IE from time to time, just to see what it's up to, and we keep it updated, so I DO have actual experience with both. I'd never use IE unless forced to, not because I hate MS ( don't), but because Netscape has features to commend it.
