No son..that's NOT what he was saying..and you know it
"So you are saying that the only reason Linux (open source) has made any in roads at all is because of anti-trust actions?"

Um, no, Mr. always-trying-to-play-stupid. Linux has madde the inroads that it has because it is much cheaper, more reliable, more scalable, spyware free, and nation-independent. I mean, you can't blame China (or anyone else for that matter) for not wanting to be spied on by Gates and his second-rate programming team, can you? What has made linux last as we all know is that the typical monopoly competition-killing tactics that have worked so easily well for Microsoft in the past are not working against linux. We ALL know that to be the truth (even you Bittie, though you are being paid to say otherwise).
We ALL know that the "antitrust actions" have done virtually nothing, as it was all along nothing more than a PR ploy to make it seem as though the U.S. government was actually doing something to restore competition. Hopefully the EU will weild a genuine antitrust club. I think it really all depends on how much M$ is willing to spend.
But M$ will soon become a fading memory. Once other governments and companies see how linux shops are saving millions, retain full unfettered access to THEIR data, and can upgrade on THEIR scedule, everyone will suddenly begin to realize how badly they were whipped like a bunch of b#$ches..
