XML and 'Competitive Disadvantage'
Only after EU and customers made it very clear what they need, MS started publishing its XML schemas.

But the 'software giant' is concerned that disclosing the schemas may give them a 'competitive disadvantage' (!).

What are they affraid of? Competition? If MS, the financially largest IT company, then HOW MUCH MORE all the small companied shouldn't be affraid of MS?

It is the same attitude that the spoiled, wealthy kids have: they own 90% of everything and are concerned that someone else owns the rest 10%.

Well, MS has received all the protectionistic treatment that has simply spoiled it (its upper management).

Bottom line: they are the biggest company and still affraid of the competion. This is a story from a bad farry tale.

It's only a matter of time for the embarassing end happy
