I tried it
I downloaded the first beta and tried it on my spiffy new AMD64 last summer. No drivers for video, so it stayed at 640x480 no matter what. Sorry, there is NOTHING that I do that can be done at that resolution. Dropped it like a hot potato! Went for SuSE - but their ftp-based install process kept screwing up (I have over 20 years and a masters degree in computers - I DID try everything). Went for Mandrake 10.0 BETA. There are some inconvienances, but it works fairly well.

Until M$ can get some drivers - don't touch this!
