So Microsoft is criticized for releasing the OS with few or no of its own 64-bit apps. But what would people say if Microsoft didn't release the OS until all of its own apps were ported? Would there be cries of 'monopoly'?
How can it afford to wait any longer? It's already 5 years behind Linux.
