By 2005?
The article says that Microsoft hopes the new
versions of Windows will make 64-bit computing
mainstream by next year.

But 2005 is only 25 days away! And Microsoft
isn't planning on releasing these until sometime
next year. So how can they be mainstream BY next
year, only 25 days away? I think either
Microsoft is overly optimistic or ZDNN quoted
them incorrectly. I suspect they mean 'by 2006'.
