Enterprise customers are simply not that stupid
Those that abandon Oracle because the product 'breaks' on Windows are likely so committed to Windows anyway that they wouldn't use Oracle if it weren't available on Windows.

On the other hand, those who use Oracle on Linux will not give a hoot whether Oracle on Windows has problems. As long as Oracle is stable on Linux, they'll be happy.

The bonus factor is that now Oracle can approach the Windows customer who is experiencing problems and offer them Oracle on Linux (a free test drive perhaps). So in the end, this simply creates the potential for more Windows users to discover Linux. And Unisys will be there to support and assist in that transition.
