And what exactly would their alternative be? Slavery? It sounds like they already overwork their employees.

No, this isn't a matter of the wage laws being "outdated". This is a matter of getting through their thick skulls that there's very good reasons behind these laws.

Thy should spead their work over a longer period of time or hire more employees. Overworking existing employees is only going to drop morale and productivity.

If this continues, I predict EA will simply crack under its own pressure. There's only so much they can push before something breaks.
