No wonder why games aren't as good.
While computers and graphics have increased radically over time, I still don't have the fun I had playing the older games. I think it's because of a loss in passion in the game industry.
Years ago, developers thought "We can make a great, fun game, and make some money".
Now, it's "We'll make some money, let's think up a game."

That's where games like (looking at the EA page):
Golden Eye
Catwoman
Def Jam fight for NY
...come from. More corporate money making, than desire to make a cool game.
I'm sure the actual programmers and developers are thinking," I can do better, if I had the time, or desire."

Back to x-com for me..
