HP leans on Veritas for Unix boost

HP + Veritas

Does this bode well for Sun? If I have this story right HP is phasing out HP-UX, a veritable giant in the Unix industry, as well as its chip for RISC processing unless there is something else in the wind, and with its adoption of Intel's chip, performance notwithstanding, it sounds almost as if HP is offering little more to customers than Dell, and is a mere mirror of (IBM-Linux). And why the sudden layoff in the printer division? Is there no room for expanding their more profitable lines? We'll see.
