Jeff is correct!
MS has peaked in the desktop market and has not really produced a server software that is as robust as the UNIX environment. I see a lot of movement towards getting away from MS. Many countries are starting to use LINUX for their desktop environment as well as their server environment.

You can see the evidence that MS has topped out on the desktop because they started charging an annual maintenance fee for XP.

I personally moved from Internet Exploder to Mozilla and haven't looked back. It is a superior product. Faster and a lot less problems opening web pages.

While I am fairly new to Linux, it seems to me to be a superior operating system to anything I have used from MS. Yea - there are a few problems getting some of the OSS packages to run properly, but once you do, they run better. Everything seems to be a lot more stable.

I think there are a lot of developers like myself who are putting together packages based on the LINUX OS and are not really interested in subjecting their clients to an additional XX$ for more users or any other licenses. Sure, you and I can make a few extra bucks selling more licenses, but I have found that I get a lot more referrals when I install a package that is flexible enough to grow with my customer instead of that customer having to pay extra everytime they want to add a user or make some sort of change.
