But if open source is just better (not saying it is now) why then pay for less quality software? If two, three years from now linux is just as easy to use (for Joe Sixpack) than Windows, yet it does not have the security woes and call home crap that Windows does, why should anyone pay for Windows when you could just download a free distro of linux?
