Actually, yes.
OnStar has an emergency roadside assistance function, as well as a GPS tracking function for stolen vehicles.

It would rather suck to have to rely on it, only to see a BSOD pop up on the little navigation screen, wouldn't it (or worse, get hit with a virus that diasbles the anti-theft functions, or turns it on permanently so as to clog the signal-to-noise ratio and make the whole shebang useless...)
