When a bunch of lawyers come knocking on your door ...
? I would like to see just how smug you will be. Better yet, when several sets of lawyers visit you, and tell you that your business operations infringe on thirty-odd or so patents (some of them even overlapping) I would like to see you still defend patents as being an appropriate property protection mechanism for software. You seem to have no foresight as to the dangers patents pose to the software industry - in particular how they can cause the cost of software to skyrocket, or simply make things to costly for many businesses to survive.
