Well, duh...
I love the comments that go along the lines of, "company XYZ is only in this for the money!!! They are only interested in profit!"

No kidding! What else would they be after? They're a business! Unprofitable companies generally don't stick around too long. So, do you just hate capitalism in general? Should all the companies you mention just fall over dead and fire all of their employees? No, because you'd complain about that, too. If you don't like what a particular company is doing, then focus on that. However, the "What XYZ seek (sic) is profit" is a stupid line of attack.
