This turkey never stops
Your incompetence does not translate into something being difficult. It merely showcases your incompetence.

When it the last time you had to re-compile an update from SuSE, Redhat, Mandrake...

Oh, that's right, you know nothing about it. You are simply spreading M$ FUD, as always.

---------remember, disto's CHARGE for a windows update type of service--------

Odd, I just received e-mail notifications of latest updates for some apps distributed with Redhat. No charge. No fee. No compile. up2date -u and I'm done. What does it take to get your windslow box updated? Agree to yet another EULA, granting M$ total access and your first-born?

You FUD is becoming so old, boring, and tiring and practically everything you say about Linux is a lie. Not an exaggeration. Not a slight stretch. Not even a misunderstanding. A bald-faced lie. It it aimed at those that don't know much about it. You toss out a bit of technical jargon the new users know little of, and, if the truth be known, I seriously doubt you do either, since it is actually quite easy to compile something, in an attempt to spread FUD because you know if your 'precious' loses it's top spot you'll have to go back to flipping burgers. If compiling a simple app is beyond your skill level then I wish you many happy hours patching and cleaning M$ boxes. With your knowlege of computers that is probably all you can do. That, along with calling outside support every time a NIC fails.

Is shilling for M$ like a click-through ad. Three cents per shill or something like that. That is about what I expect, considering the rate you spew them out. From what I see, three cents is about all it's worth. You (lack of) knowlege about Linux is beyond belief.

While were're on the topic of support, tell me, just how much do you get from M$ when their 200 Mb patch breaks everything? What is the first question M$ support asks? Your credit card number, of course. Exactly how much support do you get with xp's $300.00 price tag? Exactly NONE. Support is $250.00 per call, up front.

Actually, the only thing I don't like about supporting Linux is the fact it gives so little trouble I'm expected to spend all my free time catching the slack for the M$ people who spend about 90% of their time patching, patching, calling M$ support, patching, patching, patching, calling M$ support....

Tell me about M$ tech-net. It seems to be severely broken unless you pay a subscription. Next to add to their list will be fees for updates. Probably within the year.
