My nephew is MSCS from a highly-regarded university. Works for IBM, 100% on Linux; the company has a massive stake in the success of its products, and if there were problems with the OS, that would be a problem for the company. [Yes, the company makes a profit from its products - that's why companies exist.]

How do you judge him as not a "best engineer"?
