Please clarify.
That sounds encouraging, but I don't understand your reasoning:
Thus far, the net result of increased productivity has not been diminishment of the producers, but expansion of that segment of the economy.

Which producers are in an expanding segment of the economy? And has that expansion increased employment at substantial wages?
(Just to mention, WalMart has expanded as a result of their inventory control and analysis of trends. However, I wouldn't classify them as a success for purposes of this discussion in their retail operations.)
