It's been known that Game Development is slave work!
I thought everyone knew that working at a Game Developer essentially amounts to slave work. Unless you are the mathamatician that comes up with the engine, you're not so important.

Around 80-100K is the pay scale for a Sr. developer's that work 40 hours a week. I'd either switch to the business field or become an hourly contractor. Then at least you're getting paid for all the time.

Let me do some math here...ok $55/hr (which is probably less than average) x 80 hours x 12 weeks = $52,800.
