How?
How do the console makers restrict the market? By not releasing the console specifications and APIs needed to write games? If so, don't they have that right (as short-sighted as it may be)?

After all, in the long run, they are only hurting themselves by keeping their market closed. How is it hurting the public? In other words, why should regulators get involved?
