MSIE updates? Why?
I agree with you 100%. Why update garbage, I do puter repair and try to tell people to dump Internet Exploiter and go to Firefox or Mozilla. I have had a study flow of xp machines with as high 300+ infections of all kinds and a lot of them have the wonderful SP2 patch. M$ should make Xp into a good functioning OS instead of thinking of longhorn which will no doubt be another real nightmare when released. According to the English testing firm's Mi2g's study which was no doubt setup and paid for by microscrap Linux holds 65% of all hacked operating systems records which is a lot of bull. I have been using linux since 1997 without a single intrusion by anything. My experence shows that every M$ patch fixes a problem and creates a dozen new holes, so why not just scrap IE. Opera is also a very nice alternative to IE. It is wierd and strange to have to work in the wacky world of windows.............
