We already switched to MS once ...
... and switched back again to NetWare. We had to deploy so many more servers to do the Windows thing that we decided to go back to NetWare again before we completely finished. Then we sold off most of our MS server licensing and some servers to one of our partner companies and consulted to them to deploy their network and AD. So we made quite a bit of money on that deal, we all have our MCSE papers and we're happy to be running NetWare.

Open Enterprise Server gives you the option to install the Linux kernel-based server or the NetWare kernel-based server. We'll still have NetWare kernel-based servers running for years to come, but we'll certainly be running even more Linux soon.
