Its called "Business"
Are you sure you have the right user name? Just what UNIX are you a guru of?

The original version of Staroffice that Sun purchased was put out there as "free". Once the development started on the new versions, Sun split it into a "free" program (OpenOffice) and charged $75 for StarOffice (basically OpenOffice with a spell checker). You can still get the "free" OpenOffice version - which is unsupported, or you can pay for support. Pretty simple - NOT a bait and switch.

Same thing with the OS. If you want free, you get no support. Absolutely NO ONE gives support for free.

Not sure if the bug fixes would get rolled up into a Solaris release - instead of being fixed one-by-one. I'm assuming that Sun would periodically update Solaris (with the bug fixes), but you would need to reinstall to get them. Anyway, its still a good deal. I've worked with Solaris for many years, and I don't see many show-stopper bugs . . .
