Interesting article..
Seeing as SCO has changed their lawsuit claims more times than I have changed underpants it is quite interesting that a company that is so strong in their case is protecting their income from the law sharks.

I found the article very interesting as it highlights all the questions that have been raised to date regarding Microsoft and the Baystar and RBC tie in. What has been admitted is Ms had a hand in the introduction for investment and motivated Baystar at least to invest in SCO, they then lost a ton of money withdrawing from them (which cant do them good from an investment side - customer lack of confidence).

Also the loss is not something to sneeze at. I wonder what their accounts look like before and after this fiasco. Seeing as they aren't a public company it will be hard to see, all we have is speculation.

I might be missing a couple of things but Ms played a very fine line with their involvement and they know it. This article is going to make a lot of people look at Ms very carefully.

Also we have to wait and see what the courts are going to do. If SCO loses (which I expect but the issue regarding the Monterey product and code inclusion needs to be cleared up) then the fallout is going to be bad coz all eyes will go back to Baystar and Ms.

The ramblings of a mad techie...
