Can't be stopped DMCA does apply everywhere
I am surprised that it has taken this long to crack the itunes DRM. Anyone who worries about this is naive. Any protection worth cracking will be cracked. DMCA is a US law not a worldwide law such stupid laws won't stop hackers abroad. A lot of european countries have similar laws to please the US but have no desire to enforce them.

Personaly I want an MP3 I can play anywhere on any machine I don't to F around with authorization and deauthorization and all the other horsesh#t that goes along with DRM.

I also have no desire to pay Jobs $1 a song for music I have bought serveral times already. I will find the MP3 if I want it, thank you very much. By the way the premium Itunes player is a nice player especialy when it is free with the right crack!!!!!! HA! HA!

So look you naive adolesents if Jon doesn't crack it someone else will. Within 6 months there will be an itunes rip program all over the net and of course apple will update it's protection and the itunes-rip program will be updated and the battle will continue ad-infinum or forever.

I guarantee if windows and hardware makers go overboard in locking down pc's that alternatives will appea. How about, for example a dedicated music machine that will process any sound file output take the ouput and feed it back into a sound processor that rips or reproduces a perfect or near perfect copy sans any protection.
This would be perfectly legal since no encrytion was ever decrypted, only the output audio was reprocessed. Such a machine could be given capabilities to enhance the reprocessed signal and perhaps improve the fidelity. This would give the consumer the freedom and to back up any sound file in any format and play it anywhere on any machine any time.

I think my current PC does most of that so as long as it works why the F#ck would I ever buy a locked down os and pc.

DRM will never work but have fun with the illusion all your drm supporters!
