Excel seems trademarkeable to me
---Now, please, tell me your thoughts about TurboExcel and Excel---

Since "Excel" was not a generic word in the spreadsheet world at the time the first products started, it seems like it shoudl be trademarkeable. I'm not familiar enough with the history of the products to know who named their product "excel" first, but I would assume they'd have the best claim to the word.

If MS had it first, then "TurboExcel" may be in some trouble, the same as you would be if you started a company selling soda and named it "TurboPepsi".
