Rather obvious isn't it?? Well, that said, any atack would cause problems.
They would love to atack open source with intelectual property, but not all countries have software patents, ant that would just make them mad and drive them to open source. Microsoft has to find some way of seeming like the nice guys, so that if they do atack, the majority will see it as justified for all of their hard work. Problem is, with all of the bad things they have done in the past, probably won't happen. If they could get rid of Balmer, Gates, and all the other sharks, that would help a lot, but I really doubt that will happen.

FUN TO WATCH THEM SQUIRM!!
